About Research Audit
Research Audit is required to preserve the importance and integrity of research ecology in higher education institutions. Audits may be conducted for any specific cause (i.e., to investigate any specific issue) or for quality control purposes.
RAM is a tool to measure the effectiveness of Research practices in higher education institutions. It works on total five different checkpoints. Following Checkpoints or benchmarks determines the attainment of Quality Research Practices in the institutions. RAM is an evidence-based process carried out through peer review that investigates the procedures and the mechanism by which an institution ensures its quality assurance and quality enhancement.
The goal of routine RQA reviews is to help investigators and institutions study the performance of research in compliance with the applicable regulations, policies, and guidance in order to protect the reliability or validity of study data. Routine RQA reviews are intended to be educational and consultative in nature. The educational component involves providing the study with up-to-date information on best practices based on Academic Research. The consultative aspect is to find and help correct potential problems in study conduct, documentation, or process, including problems arising from non-compliance of the time to time updates in the government policies.
The following Modules are used for the RAM

Outcome-based research (OBR) is a theory based on part of the research system around goals (outcomes). By the end of the Audit each teacher will be able to know the outcome of their research. There is no specified style of research in OBR; instead it should help the stakeholders of HEI to achieve the specified goals.
